AIR TRAVEL - CHECK WITH DELAY - DAMAGES

The wait just over an hour without receiving information for the departure of the aircraft is a stressful experience as to be compensated.
In case the delay of the air carrier is approximately one hour and thirty minutes, the passengers affected by this delay are entitled to damages to be assessed in the discretion of € 300.00. This is because the discomfort caused by the failure by the air carrier, the Charter of the passenger has placed himself in a state of great mental and physical injury.
In the case at issue, although it was delayed about an hour and thirty minutes, the Justice of the Peace of St. Anastasia was entitled to damages resulting from the stress of psycho-physical nature, in favor of the passenger which was not given any information about the reasons of the delay, nor a hot meal was provided to the passenger a victim of the delay by airline. This principle, established by the Charter of Rights referred to the passenger, issued by ENAC, provides: "The passenger must receive information from the airline, its agent, or by an entity providing passenger handling, on the delay and the same causes as the knowledge on the part of agencies and within the scheduled boarding time ...
